Description
Unusual, OLD paperweight aquired from from a fine estate many, many decades earlier; new to market: Color & design flowing movement are quite unique; never seen a close comparable. The intricate & vivid yellow design depicts either a flower or abstract art? The lower purely white design is also uncommonly unique. Four large, long controlled clear stretch bubbles appear at mid level, arising from bottom center w/a larger centered bubble . . all having the applied, parallel yellow steimens. Amazing skill. Believe item is leaded glass due to its hefty weight: 1 lb 1.7oz. Large: 3" wide 3” tall, approx. Carefully wrapped a ruler from base over top to opposing base = 6.5" diameter. Unfortunately, no maker's mark found, however, it's creator was obviously very talented considering the expertise required to make such a brilliant piece of beautiful art glass. Great clear condition - see all detailed photos, pls. 2 tiny marks appear close together on one side (pic #3). The base has a refined rounded "edge" & it's diameter is nice & smooth to the touch. The center pontil is natural & unrefined. The entire clear glass areas have a finely aged, mellow tinge; presumably from age. Nice & clear, no clouding, no scuffs or scratches. Very, very pretty. 🌾 Great addition to any collection 🌾 Will be listing other old, unique paperweights aquired long ago in the near future. Pls do check back often. Ships USPS immediately, carefully wrapped, well insulated within a strong, sturdy box. Thanks for looking!
